How did you come up with the idea of creating wiolà bags?

“My journey into design began not in a studio, but at a climbing or bouldering gym. As a lawyer navigating a demanding daily routine, I found my escape and my passion on the climbing wall. The instant feedback of a successful climb was a thrilling contrast to my day job, and I quickly became hooked.

Yet, I noticed something was missing. The climbing bags on the market were purely functional—they lacked the vibrant colors and stylish designs I loved. I wanted a bag that could express my personality, a bag that was as much a part of my style as my daily accessories. Unable to find what I was looking for, I decided to create it myself.”

How did you start making your idea come true?

"With zero experience in product design or manufacturing, I set out on a mission. I spent months sketching my ideas, researching materials, and talking to manufacturers. There were countless challenges—from finding the right factory to multiple rounds of samples and redesigns. But with every challenge, my determination grew, resulting in a bag that was everything I had envisioned.

After a long journey, I finally had the bags in my hands."

What’s your belief in wiolà bags?

"After I received my first bags, I started gifting them to friends, sharing not just a product, but a piece of my passion. I was so touched when my friends loved them and found them incredibly useful, too. Although not all my friends go bouldering or climbing, they used their bags for everything—from carrying gym clothes and laptops to holding water bottles on a hike or snacks for their pets. That's when we realized we weren't just creating beautiful items; we were crafting gifts that made life easier and brighter. This shared experience sparked an idea: to create a curated gift shop filled with things that are both lovely to look at and genuinely useful.
